The interior is stitched with comfortable neoprene that offers just the right amount of padding and is easy to slide on or slip off. Gara HV ski boot liners properly position your foot so that your toes have wiggle room and stay warm thanks to a neoprene toe box insulated with Thinsulate and merino wool. A moderately stiff cuff makes the Gara our most versatile liner, capable of performing in any terrain on the mountain.

Fit considerations

The Gara HV liner is pre-packed with the most OMFit self-molding cork composite, specifically designed for higher volume performance boots and lower volume feet. While the Gara HV comes pre-packed with more cork, skiers can still add more cork to the tongue or ankle pockets to dial in their perfect fit. If the Gara HV has too much volume for your ski boot shells, consider the Gara LV model.

Tech features

Laces and power strap

Designed to keep your heel and midfoot in place, the lacing system and power strap align your foot within the liner.

Neoprene toe box

A flexible toe box conforms to your forefoot, regardless of the width. With your foot secure in place, this toe box design allows for toe movement, keeping your feet warm.

Merino wool and Thinsulate

ZipFit toe boxes are insulated with Thinsulate and real merino wool, keeping your toes warmer while still promoting breathability.

Adjustable cork pouches

Three cork pouches in each liner (located behind the top of the tongue and on either side of the instep) allow you to adjust the cork fill to dial in your perfect fit.

Neoprene lining

3mm neoprene lines the interior of this ZipFit, adding a nice element of cushioning without sacrificing the performance of your fit.

I love these liners except for one thing… these aren’t made for short legs. I’m a 5’4” female who skis at an expert level and averages 30-50 days a season. The issues I deal with are; I have really wide feet and extremely small ankles and heels. I have very defined a muscular calves but my legs are short. My biggest issue with ski boots is that I can never get my heel and ankle locked down. In the past I’ve had ankle sprains from how much my heel travels in my boot while turning. These liners solved that issue for me completely and I am so happy about it. It’s changed how I ski! But the one thing that I have had a lot of trouble with is the height of the liner. Like most things in the ski world these are designed for men and the liner height and rigidity digs directly into my calf muscles and it causes a lot of pain. It causes my my calves to seize up while skiing steep or difficult terrain. My calves ache and are cramped for days afterwards. The fastening lock for the laces broke on one of my liners after less than ten uses and I’m still trying to figure out a solution that keeps them tight but I can live with that. I really do love how these liners have stopped my heel slippage and I put up with the calf pain but I wish there was a short cuff or women’s version. Dear ski industry, please make ski gear for different sized people, we’re not all tall men. I would give these liner 1000 stars if they fit my short legs!

I finally have the boot fit I’ve been striving for years for and it’s largely due to my Garas. Everything you read about them is true: the heel hold, plush forefoot comfort. It’s amazing how I barely need to tighten my boots and I still have a rock solid connection to my skis. So worth it, even the hassle of putting my boots on racer style.

Been using these bad boys since 2015! Will never run a downhill boot without my zipfit liners. My first pair lasted over 800 days - once they were really broken in I moved it over to my touring boot and got a new pair for my Fischer RC4 130. I wear them for park , all mtn, and pow riding. The heel hold is incredible, and power transfer unmatched. The ability to add cork to anywhere you feel necessary is game changing

I had some fit issues with the original liners in my K2 Recon 120 ski boots. I replaced them with the Gara HV ski boot liners, and the fit is much better. I had the Garas fitted at EVO in Seattle, and they are a great improvement. The fit gets better every time I ski.

Chefs kiss. No complaints. I'm not a pro skier or ski patrol, but i am a pro dad (semi pro if you ask my kids). I have three little rippers I chase down the pow (sometimes back up it), to the hot coco, throughout the resort or in the parking lot. Days can be real long so uncomfortable boots are not welcome, but had been the reality. After three seasons with custom, heat molded boots that always had one issue or another I took the plunge and my only regret is not doing it sooner. It was a lot of money up front, but if they last 10 seasons that's a pretty darn good amortized cost over time.

Great fit, made my old ski boot feels new again. Heel cushion/outside cover was wearing/peeling with repeatitive in and out of the shell due to my tecnica shell metal cap on the inside of the shell. But otherwise, best investment I had on ski boot/liner

I love these! As a 4-5 day a week patroller, they keep me comfortable and warm all day. And they ski great from a technical aspect.

Excellent. I can't be happier!!!!! Two comments regarding fitting: 1. The HV model is really wide from the ankle upwards. However, after some days of skiing, the inner foam had adapted perfectly, and I didn't need to remove any padding. 2. The front part of the feet is considerably thinner than the original boot liner of my Technica Mach1. This is no problem at all. I close the two down buckles, which are much narrower than ever.

I am 72 years old and I have been skiing for 60 years. (Started later I know) . I have never really had any problems with my ski boots. My son, who works with zipfit, insisted I give the liners a try. What a game changer! It's like skiing in slippers but with full support. I have improved my skiing noticeably. They are so comfortable and responsive. Recommend them 100% . I ski more efficiently and with less effort. If you ski for fitness this is truly a game changer.

Incredible fit and feel while on the snow. Helps to provide instantanious action through the skis whether carving high speed arcs on the groomers/hardpack, ripping zipper lines in the bumps, dropping crittical lines in the chutes or floating through powder fields. Will help elevate anyones current skill set on the mountain and keep your feet warm all day. No need to "unbuckle for a little relief" on the lift ride up, ever. Pure All-Mountain performance and comfort!

This is the single most significant upgrade so far of all my ski equipments. Prior to this, I have kept tuning my current set of boots, but it never works to the degree that I like. It is either too tight that my feet hurt so much at the end of the day, or it is too loose that won't hold my angle in place. Zipfit liner totally changed how I experience Ski now, I can just ski all day in this pair a liner with my old boots with comfort, warmth and solid control. My feet no long moves in the boot and they no longer hurt.

I just purchased the Gara HV ZipFit liners which are my 2nd pair of ZipFits over the last 10 years. They are by far the best ski boot liners I've ever had. They don't even come close to standard "store bought, out-of-the-box" boot liners. They are custom fit and because of the cork material, literally take the shape of your ankle, calf, and shin areas so that they truly fit like a glove and provide unbelievable comfort, warmth andhigh performance. Absolutely no "shin bang". The Customer Service is awesome too. You don't get a robot, recording or someone you cannot understand. You can email or call them and they respond immediately and provide excellent advice and guidance. They have excellent "how to" videos to fit the ZipFits yourself and how to add cork if necessary, which is fairly easy. I would very highly recommend ZipFits to anyone who loves skiing, wants a perfect fit, comfort, warmth, high performance, and excellent customer sevice.

Find the correct ZipFits for you.

Find the correct ZipFits for you.

Ski boots don’t have to be painful, discover the fit solution that has worked for thousands of skiers.

What’s better - leather or neoprene?

It all comes down to user preference.

Are you willing to lace up your liners and step into your shells before every use? Our leather lined ZipFits require this move, while our neoprene lined ZipFits are easier to step into. If your answer is “no way” – we suggest the neoprene ZipFits.

Leather offers a true to form fit meaning your ankles and shinbone will imprint into the leather, securing your lower leg and foot to the ultimate degree.

Neoprene has more natural cushioning, so while you can still get an excellent fit, they have a more forgiving feel when skiing.

Both interior liners can last a LONG TIME with proper care. While we think of leather as more durable, we know of a pair of neoprene liners with 1500 ski days.

For precision fit and performance, the leather has a slight advantage.

For ease of use and all mountain comfort, the neoprene has a slight edge.

Should you take your liners out of your ski boots?

Ski boot liners will dry better if removed from the shells, but what about the wear and tear of removing the liners and then stepping back into the shells? We recommend removing your ZipFits from the shell after skiing to unlace them and let them dry and then using the Ski Boot Horn to assist in stepping back into your shells. The Ski Boot Horn dramatically reduces the wear on the backs of your liners and by lacing your liners up prior to stepping into your boots will ensure that your foot is properly positioned.

Can I add boot heaters to my ZipFits?

Certainly, but take note that if you make an incision in your liners for boot heaters, that will void your 30 day money back guarantee. We recommend skiing in your liners for a week or so to ensure they are the right size and model before you add boot heaters. Additionally, heated socks perform well and don’t require altering your liners.

Are there any return exclusions?

Yes, if you alter your liners or make any incisions to them in the first 30 days, it will void your return policy.

How should I care for my ZipFits?

Great question, we built out an entire Care and Repair section to help our customers keep their ZipFits skiing longer.

Will I be charged for a replacement item?

If there is a difference in price of an item, you will be asked to pay the difference or receive the appropriate refund. Customers are responsible for paying return shipping on returns and exchanges.

How can I track my orders and payment?

When you place an order, you will receive a confirmation email followed by another email when the product ships. This email will contain tracking information.
