Product details

The interior is stitched with comfortable neoprene that offers just the right amount of padding and is easy to slide on or slip off. Gara HV ski boot liners properly position your foot so that your toes have wiggle room and stay warm thanks to a neoprene toe box insulated with Thinsulate and merino wool. A moderately stiff cuff makes the Gara our most versatile liner, capable of performing in any terrain on the mountain.

Fit considerations

The Gara HV liner is pre-packed with the most OMFit self-molding cork composite, specifically designed for higher volume performance boots and lower volume feet. While the Gara HV comes pre-packed with more cork, skiers can still add more cork to the tongue or ankle pockets to dial in their perfect fit. If the Gara HV has too much volume for your ski boot shells, consider the Gara LV model.

Tech features

Laces and power strap

Designed to keep your heel and midfoot in place, the lacing system and power strap align your foot within the liner.

Neoprene toe box

A flexible toe box conforms to your forefoot, regardless of the width. With your foot secure in place, this toe box design allows for toe movement, keeping your feet warm.

Merino wool and Thinsulate

ZipFit toe boxes are insulated with Thinsulate and real merino wool, keeping your toes warmer while still promoting breathability.

Adjustable cork pouches

Three cork pouches in each liner (located behind the top of the tongue and on either side of the instep) allow you to adjust the cork fill to dial in your perfect fit.

Neoprene lining

3mm neoprene lines the interior of this ZipFit, adding a nice element of cushioning without sacrificing the performance of your fit.

Great fit, made my old ski boot feels new again. Heel cushion/outside cover was wearing/peeling with repeatitive in and out of the shell due to my tecnica shell metal cap on the inside of the shell. But otherwise, best investment I had on ski boot/liner

These liners are phenomenal!! The fit is incredibly snug but comfortable…. My first day on them I over tightened the boot and had a little discomfort and from day 2 forward absolutely ZERO complaints… these liners are absolutely a game changer for Me … being an advanced/expert terrain skier I’ve never felt so good in steep bumps and glades now with theses liners I absolutely love my gara HV

I love these! As a 4-5 day a week patroller, they keep me comfortable and warm all day. And they ski great from a technical aspect.

Excellent. I can't be happier!!!!! Two comments regarding fitting: 1. The HV model is really wide from the ankle upwards. However, after some days of skiing, the inner foam had adapted perfectly, and I didn't need to remove any padding. 2. The front part of the feet is considerably thinner than the original boot liner of my Technica Mach1. This is no problem at all. I close the two down buckles, which are much narrower than ever.

I am 72 years old and I have been skiing for 60 years. (Started later I know) . I have never really had any problems with my ski boots. My son, who works with zipfit, insisted I give the liners a try. What a game changer! It's like skiing in slippers but with full support. I have improved my skiing noticeably. They are so comfortable and responsive. Recommend them 100% . I ski more efficiently and with less effort. If you ski for fitness this is truly a game changer.

Incredible fit and feel while on the snow. Helps to provide instantanious action through the skis whether carving high speed arcs on the groomers/hardpack, ripping zipper lines in the bumps, dropping crittical lines in the chutes or floating through powder fields. Will help elevate anyones current skill set on the mountain and keep your feet warm all day. No need to "unbuckle for a little relief" on the lift ride up, ever. Pure All-Mountain performance and comfort!

This is the single most significant upgrade so far of all my ski equipments. Prior to this, I have kept tuning my current set of boots, but it never works to the degree that I like. It is either too tight that my feet hurt so much at the end of the day, or it is too loose that won't hold my angle in place. Zipfit liner totally changed how I experience Ski now, I can just ski all day in this pair a liner with my old boots with comfort, warmth and solid control. My feet no long moves in the boot and they no longer hurt.

I just purchased the Gara HV ZipFit liners which are my 2nd pair of ZipFits over the last 10 years. They are by far the best ski boot liners I've ever had. They don't even come close to standard "store bought, out-of-the-box" boot liners. They are custom fit and because of the cork material, literally take the shape of your ankle, calf, and shin areas so that they truly fit like a glove and provide unbelievable comfort, warmth andhigh performance. Absolutely no "shin bang". The Customer Service is awesome too. You don't get a robot, recording or someone you cannot understand. You can email or call them and they respond immediately and provide excellent advice and guidance. They have excellent "how to" videos to fit the ZipFits yourself and how to add cork if necessary, which is fairly easy. I would very highly recommend ZipFits to anyone who loves skiing, wants a perfect fit, comfort, warmth, high performance, and excellent customer sevice.

I was a little skeptical when I first received these as the fit was different from my original head liners. Did original fitting with a hair dryer to heat them up a bit. The off to Europe for 6 days of skiing. Took a few days to get them broken in but WoW! Never had this snug a fit and heel hold before! Just loving these!!

I didn't want to part with $500, but my liners were packed out and I was getting pretty bad heal lift. I spoke to a few folks that had made the switch to ZipFit and they had nothing but praise. I made the leap and so glad I did. I love the fit, feels so locked in. I hope they last as long was everyone says they will, but lovin them right now!

I used these for the first time a week ago, and overall, I was impressed. They were comfortable and warm. I have added additional cork and that was easy to do. Sometimes it is hard to know where to add the cork. They seem well made, though the glue that joins the sole to the boot seems like it could be alittle more robust.

My new Zipfits absolutely transformed my skiing. I put them in a boot with 5 seasons and about 150 total ski days. The boots with Zipfits are far better than when they were brand new. I had no idea how important a solid heel lock was. Since buying my Zipfits, I have much better control and feedback of my skis. This was the best money I ever spent on gear. I just wish I knew about them years ago. If you do not have Zipfits, you should get some. I would recommend them for everybody from the beginner to the most advanced skiers.

Ma deuxième paire de chaussons depuis 2002 vraiment un superbe produit, dommage qu'il ne soit pas plus accessible en Suisse et en France. My second pair of slippers since 2002 really a great product, too bad it is not more accessible in Switzerland and France.

Excellent liner! Game changer! Literally fits like a glove, I heated these up in the oven slightly, put them on and walked around in my boots for a bit, they are a perfect fit on one foot my smaller foot will need a little cork but 95% better fit already. I use them in both of my pairs of boots, my stiff 130's and my walkable 120's, great investment, love the improved edging on groomers and control in the bumps, trees, and crud. David NH

I have 12 ski days on my Gara HV. They have been a game changer. My OEM boot liners packed out after one season and I was getting heal lift in both boots. The Gara HV liner has stopped my heal lift problem. I did have to add additional cork after 7 ski days. But that is a small proce to pay for the increased boot performance I now have. I highly recommend Zipfit for those that want comfort and performance in a ski boot.

Definitely NOT happy with this product. As with boots, these liners should not be purchased online. The liners need to be tried on to suit your particular foot AND tried in your particular boot shell. My top of the foot pain issue is solved with this liner, however, the precise "feel" and performance is really dumbed down. I feel disconnected from the snow. I would not recommend buying this product unless you are working with a bootfitter, fitting the Zipfit to your foot and your shell. Perhaps a different Zipfit liner would be better for me. However, I am NOT going to fork over another $500 to experiment.

It took one year to convince myself that zipfit was the way to go. Read countless reviews and bought directly online - should of done it 5 years ago it completely improved my boot. No more heel lift, I had a pressure point on the right side of both my feet, guess what? Boom gone. And the liners are warm…Its honestly the best ski related purchase I’ve made. I have a gara HV in a cochise130

Having Raynaud's disease I'm extremely impressed how comfortable and warm the Gara HV liners are as I haven't had to use my heated ski socks unless it's very cold outside and from day one the liners are extremely comfortable without any pressure point adjustments to the cork including the cork tongue which doesn't aggrevate my eczema on my shins. From a performance perspective with my Tecnica MACH1 MV 130 shells I find I'm more centered in all turn shapes with progressive linear and dynamic responsiveness and control...it doesn't get any better than this! I'm a true believer in Zipfit products.

What’s better - leather or neoprene?

It all comes down to user preference.

Are you willing to lace up your liners and step into your shells before every use? Our leather lined ZipFits require this move, while our neoprene lined ZipFits are easier to step into. If your answer is “no way” – we suggest the neoprene ZipFits.

Leather offers a true to form fit meaning your ankles and shinbone will imprint into the leather, securing your lower leg and foot to the ultimate degree.

Neoprene has more natural cushioning, so while you can still get an excellent fit, they have a more forgiving feel when skiing.

Both interior liners can last a LONG TIME with proper care. While we think of leather as more durable, we know of a pair of neoprene liners with 1500 ski days.

For precision fit and performance, the leather has a slight advantage.

For ease of use and all mountain comfort, the neoprene has a slight edge.

Should you take your liners out of your ski boots?

Ski boot liners will dry better if removed from the shells, but what about the wear and tear of removing the liners and then stepping back into the shells? We recommend removing your ZipFits from the shell after skiing to unlace them and let them dry and then using the Ski Boot Horn to assist in stepping back into your shells. The Ski Boot Horn dramatically reduces the wear on the backs of your liners and by lacing your liners up prior to stepping into your boots will ensure that your foot is properly positioned.

Can I add boot heaters to my ZipFits?

Certainly, but take note that if you make an incision in your liners for boot heaters, that will void your 30 day money back guarantee. We recommend skiing in your liners for a week or so to ensure they are the right size and model before you add boot heaters. Additionally, heated socks perform well and don’t require altering your liners.

Are there any return exclusions?

Yes, if you alter your liners or make any incisions to them in the first 30 days, it will void your return policy.

How should I care for my ZipFits?

Great question, we built out an entire Care and Repair section to help our customers keep their ZipFits skiing longer.

Will I be charged for a replacement item?

If there is a difference in price of an item, you will be asked to pay the difference or receive the appropriate refund. ZipFit offers free shipping to the customer on our orders over $100, if there is a return, the customer is responsible for paying for return shipping.

How can I track my orders and payment?

When you place an order, you will receive a confirmation email followed by another email when the product ships. This email will contain tracking information. If you can only receive USPS at your address, please leave a note in your product order.
