The interior is stitched with comfortable neoprene that offers just the right amount of padding and is easy to slide on or slip off. Gara LV ski boot liners properly position your foot so that your toes have wiggle room and stay warm thanks to a neoprene toe box insulated with Thinsulate and merino wool. A moderately stiff cuff makes the Gara our most versatile liner, capable of performing in any terrain on the mountain.

Fit considerations

The Gara LV liner is pre-packed with a moderate amount of OneMinuteFit self-molding cork composite, specifically designed for low to mid volume performance boots. While the Gara LV comes pre-packed with less cork, skiers can add more cork to the tongue or ankle pockets to dial in their perfect fit. If the Gara LV doesn’t have enough volume for your ski boot shells, consider the Gara HV model.

Tech features

Laces and power strap

Designed to keep your heel and midfoot in place, the lacing system and power strap align your foot within the liner.

Neoprene toe box

A flexible toe box conforms to your forefoot, regardless of the width. With your foot secure in place, this toe box design allows for toe movement, keeping your feet warm.

Merino wool and Thinsulate

ZipFit toe boxes are insulated with Thinsulate and real merino wool, keeping your toes warmer while still promoting breathability.

Adjustable cork pouches

Three cork pouches in each liner (located behind the top of the tongue and on either side of the instep) allow you to adjust the cork fill to dial in your perfect fit.

Neoprene lining

3mm neoprene lines the interior of this ZipFit, adding a nice element of cushioning without sacrificing the performance of your fit.

Absolute game changer. Increase your comfort so you can go longer and harder on the mountain. Built to last. If you’re not skiing with zip fits, you’re not skiing to your full ability.

Perfect fit. I have been using this model for a long time. Every pair I buy and use is for a separate pair of ski boots. This way I get the maximum effect and individualization on my foot structure and different ski boots.

I've used Zipfits for 20 years and they are an incredible liners that last forever, can boost comfort considerably, and gives heel hold like no other liner. These will be my daughters first set. Say no to foam liners.

Couldn’t be happier with my zipfits. Off the bat threw them into my Lange rx130 shells. I opted to try them out before trying to do any kind of fitting. (I like to know if there’s an issue before trying to solve it) Two days of skiing, and less pain than I expected later, they had totally fit to my feet. A perfect stiffness for me and a super high comfort level. A couple months after this I switched to Lange shadow130 shells and the switch was completely easy. I had absolutely no pain being in brand new shells and they didn’t even take a day to feel absolutely perfect. Probably 130 days into these liners and still haven’t done any kind of fitting for them. They are still in great condition inside and out. Excited to be in zipfits for years to come. Thanks team!

The performance jump from a stock liner is incredible. I sized down with a new boot purchase and used these as my inner boot from day one. No break in period, no pain, just the best skiing boot I've every used.

I've known about zip-fit liners for some time and always thought them to be too expensive and a pain in the ass. I've watched the people I've worked with go through the routine of putting the liners on and then getting into the shell as something I didn't want to do. I have a medium-width forefoot and a narrow heel, and over the years, I've rarely had a boot that fits. My biggest mistake with the Zip Fit liner was not buying them sooner. Skied at Utah for 2 weeks. Day 4 I packed my old liner out which already had temporary C shaped foam stuck around my ankles. I had bought the zipfits knowing this would likely happen. Used the boiled rice bag trick to premold them. Skies the rest of the vacation. Had to add 5 OMfit corks to my right and none to my left over the course of the vacation just with my foot differences but my ankle was no longer floating in either boot. Interestingly because adding to the tongue pushed my ankle back ….it also pulled my toes away from the front of my boot and I found I could ski longer in colder days because my toes stayed warmer. I had my doubts but buying new ski boots is probably my least favorite thing to do on the planet and thus far my zipfits are doing better than I had hoped.

The best investment in skiing equipment (after boot purchase) ever! They are so comfortable and race ready at the same time, they totally revolutionzed not only my skiing performance but made my ski holiday the best one yet! Lets face it, ski boots can be pretty painful when you crank them up for steep runs/ race runs etc. These liners allowed me to dial the boots in tight, with zero discomfort. On top of that, they have made getting into and out from the boot way easier. Now all i do is take the zipfit liner out of the ski boot, put them on my feet, then just step into boot. SUPER EASY! I've never experienced that ever with any ski boot in 20+ years! Lastly, you go for lunch, normally boots are hurting, not with these, you loosen your boots, loosen the zipfit ties and power band, and your whole foot feels like you just stepped onto the softest sand on the best Island in the Caribbean - silky smooth. ZipFit have done an awesome job, yes they are $$$ but based on my initial experience they will outlive my boots, lasting several years and several boots! A no brainer investment - and i cannot be your friend if you dont buy a pair :).

I bought the Gara LV to use with Atomic Hawx Ultra 130. My foot is 8mm shorter than the shell with no liner, so the fit is aggressive for all-mountain skiing. I'm between shell sizes and I opted to go down. The Atomic stock liners crushed my forefoot, but the Gara LV in the same size is warm, supple, and comfortable. Day 1 was rough due to low space. Day 2 I switched to a thinner footbed (Superfeet winter thin), removed a little cork from the Achilles area, and had the shells heat molded to the liners and toe punched a little. That afternoon I did some of the best turns I have ever done skiing. I think I can get more performance by further refining the cork placement. If you are going for a

No better way to put this: the Garas are confidently some of the best of any sports equipment I've ever used. I purchased to try a new way of managing overall fit and especially heel lift for resort tele and these not only solved that problem, they completely upgraded the level of precision I can wring out of the loosest way to get down the hill. Just ridiculous control and feel. Bin the intuitions, buy these, you will not be disappointed.

Still working out the kinks. Liners were very tight buckling boot. Still working on breaking them in. Only used 2 times due to snow conditions. Custom service great

I have spent half a season wearing my Zipfits and am a full believer. While I do still struggle to get the liner into the shell, rest assured it gets easier! Once they are in the shell the comfort and performance are unmatched. The Zipfits truly improved my ski performance and I will not be able to ski any other liner. The Gara LV has changed my skiing forever. Once adjusted I gained so much control and confidence I will never ski without. It’s the most amazing skiing performance upgrade I have ever experienced. I have since added a zipfit to my touring boots as well. I recommend them without hesitation.

I expected performance. And perhaps a better fit. Yep, I got both. But no one told me how much warmer these are. All around a real upgrade to my stock (and worn down) liners.

Incredible liners that pack in not out. Dabello Krypton 130 (27.5 98 Last), Lange RS130 (27.5 97 Last) and Salomon Mnt. Lab (27.5 99 Last) I have about 75 days on these liners and they are awesome!! Rather than packing out after 15 or 20 days like a stock liner, these seem to pack in. The more days I ski them, the better they fit and conform to my foot irregularities. The heel and complete foot lock experienced with my Gara LV's are the best I have encountered...better than intuition foam and better than custom foam injection. Also, these are quite warm. Almost as warm as Intuitions and warmer than custom foam injection liners. These liners do not instantly conform to your foot like a Custom Foam Injection liner so see a good boot fitter like Ted Sump at the base of Snowbird in Little Cottonwood Canyon before you ski them. The cork/gel matrix used in ZipFit Liners is very firm... more firm than even modern-day custom foam injection so revisit your boot fitter early and as often as needed. It took me about two or three sessions per pair with Ted for various grinds and punches to get these Gara LV's dialed. The quality and workmanship observed in ZipFits is like no other. Based upon how well they are working for me after 75 days, I am guessing I will get a least 300 more days out of these liners. So glad I purchased these. The cost is significant but you get what you pay for and these liners are worth every cent.

Ski boots don’t have to be painful, discover the fit solution that has worked for thousands of skiers.

What’s better - leather or neoprene?

It all comes down to user preference.

Are you willing to lace up your liners and step into your shells before every use? Our leather lined ZipFits require this move, while our neoprene lined ZipFits are easier to step into. If your answer is “no way” – we suggest the neoprene ZipFits.

Leather offers a true to form fit meaning your ankles and shinbone will imprint into the leather, securing your lower leg and foot to the ultimate degree.

Neoprene has more natural cushioning, so while you can still get an excellent fit, they have a more forgiving feel when skiing.

Both interior liners can last a LONG TIME with proper care. While we think of leather as more durable, we know of a pair of neoprene liners with 1500 ski days.

For precision fit and performance, the leather has a slight advantage.

For ease of use and all mountain comfort, the neoprene has a slight edge.

Should you take your liners out of your ski boots?

Ski boot liners will dry better if removed from the shells, but what about the wear and tear of removing the liners and then stepping back into the shells? We recommend removing your ZipFits from the shell after skiing to unlace them and let them dry and then using the Ski Boot Horn to assist in stepping back into your shells. The Ski Boot Horn dramatically reduces the wear on the backs of your liners and by lacing your liners up prior to stepping into your boots will ensure that your foot is properly positioned.

Can I add boot heaters to my ZipFits?

Certainly, but take note that if you make an incision in your liners for boot heaters, that will void your 30 day money back guarantee. We recommend skiing in your liners for a week or so to ensure they are the right size and model before you add boot heaters. Additionally, heated socks perform well and don’t require altering your liners.

Are there any return exclusions?

Yes, if you alter your liners or make any incisions to them in the first 30 days, it will void your return policy.

How should I care for my ZipFits?

Great question, we built out an entire Care and Repair section to help our customers keep their ZipFits skiing longer.

Will I be charged for a replacement item?

If there is a difference in price of an item, you will be asked to pay the difference or receive the appropriate refund. ZipFit offers free shipping to the customer on our orders over $100, if there is a return, the customer is responsible for paying for return shipping.

How can I track my orders and payment?

When you place an order, you will receive a confirmation email followed by another email when the product ships. This email will contain tracking information. If you can only receive USPS at your address, please leave a note in your product order.
