Meet Giray.

Giray Dadali emerged onto the freestyle scene through filming with Meathead Films (Ski the East) and years of competing in slope style, rails, and half pipe competitions. Known ubiquitously by his nickname, “Ahmet’s Brother,” Giray has built his passion for skiing into his career, engineerings skis for J Skis and 4Frnt, and establishing his own brand of touring binding adaptors called Daymaker. Giray finds plenty of time to rip it up in the Wasatch both on his sled and around Snowbird.

Why I chose ZipFit.

I could never get the proper heel retention in a boot due to my lower volume ankle coupled with a long big toe and kind of wide foot so I used tons of J bars all the time. I've tried intuition liners, 3 piece boots and 2 piece boots. Sizing up... sizing down. In 2015 I bought a pair of these liners in Jackson Hole, filled the ankle pocket with more cork, and seriously have never looked back. I could wear a proper sized boot again instead of cramming into tiny sizes with tons of boot work.

Did you know...?

That cork is regenerative. Cork Oak trees can have their bark harvested up to 10 times in the tree’s lifespan and during the ~7 years that it takes to regrow the bark, the Cork Oak is sequestering 3-5 times more than a tree that hasn’t had it’s bark harvested. Pretty frickin’ neat.

Testimonial

I've always struggled with boots and liners. I ski professionally and a partially torn achilles tendon made me takeoff weeks at a time for about 4 years of my career. I could never get the proper retention in a boot due to a lower volume ankle coupled with a long big toe and kind of wide foot so I used tons of J bars all the time. I've tried intuition liners, 3 piece boots and 2 piece boots. Sizing up... sizing down. In 2015 I bought a pair of these liners in Jackson Hole, filled the ankle pocket with more cork, and seriously have never looked back. I could wear a proper sized boot again instead of cramming into tiny sizes with tons of bootwork. The power transfer, comfort, and durability of these things are seriously unmatched. I use the liner for big mountain, touring, and park skiing alike. My liners have been through 4 different ski boots and probably 500 days on snow since buying and they are still going strong!!
