Product Details

  • One tube of the OMfit Cork Flow Composite to be added via the OMfit ports on ZipFit liners.
  • To make fit corrections when more volume fill is needed in the ankles, heels or tongue areas.
  • One tube is normally sufficient.
  • A plunger is needed. You can order the OMfit kit if you need a plunger. HERE

Here’s a visualization: Throw a cork at the ground and what happens? It bounces back. Throw a piece of EVA foam at the ground. What happens? The impact is dampened and then there is a sad piece of foam on the ground. Beyond being a natural regenerative material, cork is incredibly responsive and has higher ductile strength and ductility than foam.

What’s this mean? It means that the energy you put into your turn actually transfers from your leg into your ski, instead of being lost to compacted foam.

Customizing your Fit

If you get new shells, you can remold your ZipFits and add/remove cork as needed. This is not like the “custom fit” one and done deal you get from foam injection. We encourage you to tweak with your liners and make sure they are performing and comfortable. For all the details check out our Home Fitting guide page HERE

Hard to get. Had to closely watch the website and buy it immediately or pay premium price at a shop where someone had previously scooped up a bunch. The only liner, according to the shop- I didn’t check but I (still) believe them, that fit my boot is on 16 tubes of cork. None of that came with the liners. $240. That doesn’t seem right. I would think some would be included in the puchase price. But, I like them. They’re warmer than my previous injection molded (hard) foam liners and more adjustable post-purchase. Definitely get the boot horn!

After sking on my Zipfit Gara LV for about 40 days I added 4 tubes of composite (2 to each boot) to the tongue, also over top and sides of forefoot. Tweeked to fit better, dont know of any other liner that you can do that wirh. Love my liners, always have had problems with boot fit, not anymore. Easy to do with youtube instructions.

I typically wait longer than I should to recork, partly because they are rarely in stock. So I end up having to use more than one tube of cork for just one liner, and I'm not enjoying spending so much per tube. I have to recork every 3-4 weeks with daily skiing as a ski instructor. I wish there was a way to buy more cork in bulk, and that it was more available because I love my zipfits.

Works well as designed. Zipfit ski boot liners are the best aftermarket ski boot liner you can purchase. They have worked great for over 5 years and counting.

OMfit Cork Flow tube does what it says it will do. Can require quite a bit of force to get the plunger to move, once the tube is almost empty. But really nice to be able to adjust the fit of my liners.

It was nice to be able to buy an extra tube of OMfit cork to be able to dial in my liner fit exactly. I started with the two tube kit with the plunger and found I needed just a bit more. This single tube did the trick.

I've skied - ski touring mostly - in my Zip Fit liners 40+ days this season. Adding cork as needed has been fantastic. It takes several days to "dial in" the need to add cork, but it has been easy to install and works well.

I'm very happy with this product! I also appreciate all the wonderful Youtube informational videos! I have very challenging feet and lower legs to try and fit into a ski boot, and this cork product and system has given me NEW hope that I can enjoy the sport that I love and enjoy comfort at the same time! Thanks Team Zipfit!

Works great. You don't need as much cork as you think in my experience. Play around with what works for you though. The customer service is excellent. If you need help give them a call or email, they will sort you out.

I recommend having these cork fillers on hand to experiment with dialing-in your liners. In my case, I used several tubes and learned how the system works. Love my liners, they really do improve fit and performance, even race boots.

Looking for that foam filled perfect fit. Shop doesn’t install enough Cork. After an expensive liner we continue to buy more cork for that right fit. The liner not warm. Now have frost bite on my toe .
